The kit is the pastoral recommendation and also the warehouse recommendation, which is the closest we come to a magisterium.
Inside the crate:
- one 16 oz bottle of blessed Concord grape juice
- three packets of wine yeast, which is more than you need and exactly as many as will fit
- one claustrum fermentationis, so the carbon dioxide may leave in an orderly fashion
- one box of unleavened crackers (24)
Garb is sold separately, on the theory that some tables are already dressed and some are not.
His Holiness blesses the kit as a kit. If you later add a stole, he does not mind. He has never minded a stole.
Allow several days after pitching the yeast. The juice will become, in a domestic sense, what you asked it to become. We do not supervise the becoming. We only packed the means.
